Shredder Hammers

Our product range includes cane shredder hammers, fibrizer hammers, swing hammers, hammer tips, cane cutter blades, cane chopper knives, crusher hammer heads and lump-breaker components. Designs can incorporate plain striking surfaces, hardfaced wear zones or replaceable tips, depending on the equipment and operating conditions.

Machining capabilities include CNC and VMC machining, milling, turning, drilling, DRO hole drilling, boring, facing, slotting and profile machining. Particular attention is given to pivot bores, mounting holes, working faces, component thickness and assembly clearances. Hammer dimensions and weight requirements are considered against the approved drawing to support correct installation within the rotor assembly.

Material selection depends on impact loading, abrasion, feed characteristics and the required manufacturing route. Carbon steel, alloy steel and suitable wear-resistant materials can be considered against the customer’s specification. Heat treatment and final machining requirements are established for the selected grade and service conditions.

We undertake industrial fabrication jobs, plate cutting, profile preparation, fit-up, welded assemblies and finish machining for machinery components and replacement parts.

Our welding scope includes hardfacing, weld build-up and wear-surface restoration, subject to the suitability and condition of the base material. Hardfacing can be applied to hammer striking faces, cane knife edges and other specified wear zones. Welding consumables, deposition patterns and heat-control requirements are selected to suit the material and application. Both plain and hardfaced hammers can be supplied according to customer requirements.

For sugar factories and sugar mills, cane cutting knives and shredder hammers support cane chopping, shredding and fibre preparation before juice extraction. These parts are also commonly described as sugar mill knives, cane preparation knives, fibrizer blades and cane shredder wear parts.

For cement plants, hammer crushers and suitable stone-crushing equipment, crusher hammers contribute to raw-material size reduction. In installations incorporating ball mills, hammer components may be required for associated upstream crushers; the correct part is identified from the machine design.

We also address requirements from chemical plants, lump crushers, lump breakers and industrial material-handling systems, where suitable hammer or breaker designs help reduce agglomerated feed. Steel plants and steel rolling mill facilities may require these components for associated scrap-processing or material-preparation equipment, together with custom fabrication and machining work.
