Manufacturing & engineering
Our manufacturing process combines fabrication, machining, welding, fitting and inspection. Roller shells can be produced from selected steel tubes with accurately prepared ends and concentric bearing seats. Shafts are turned on precision lathes/CNC machines and can be machined with steps, shoulders, threads, keyways, flats or other mounting features as required. Bearing housings, end discs, collars, spacers and bushes are machined to maintain proper fit and alignment. Idler frames are fabricated from channels, angles, flats and plates using controlled jigs and fixtures so that roller positions, troughing angles and mounting centres remain consistent.
Fitting, assembly & quality checks
Roller assembly is carried out with attention to bearing fit, seal fitment, shaft concentricity and free rotation — with deep-groove ball bearings, dust seals, labyrinth sealing, end covers, circlips, spacers and retaining components as the design requires. Rubber-ring impact rollers are assembled with wear-resistant rubber rings positioned to absorb impact in loading zones. Finished rollers are checked for dimensional accuracy, shaft projection, run-out, smooth rotation and workmanship.
